We are an auto repair shop, not a data company. This page explains in plain language what happens to the information you give us when you book a repair or send a message through this site.
The Short Version
Bell Road Automotive operates this website and the repair shop at 17203 N 19th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85023. This policy covers the information collected through bellroadauto.com. It does not cover the paper records kept at the shop for the vehicles we service, which are handled under normal business record keeping practice.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers. If that is the only thing you came to this page to find out, that is the answer.
When you submit an appointment request or contact form on this site, we ask for the details needed to schedule and prepare for your visit:
Everything in that list is optional in the sense that you are free not to send it. Sending less simply means we have less to work with when we call you back.
Like nearly every website, this one records basic technical information when you visit: the pages you viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, the type of browser and device used, and the site that referred you. This is aggregate traffic data used to understand which pages are useful and which are not. It is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.
Use, Sharing and Your Choices
Contact and vehicle information is used to schedule your appointment, order the correct parts, prepare and discuss your estimate, complete the repair, honor the warranty on work we performed, and follow up about that vehicle. We may also use your contact details to reach you about a recall, a safety concern we noticed, or a service that is coming due.
A small number of outside parties necessarily touch this information in the course of doing business, and each is limited to what its role requires:

If you give us a mobile number, we may call or text you about your specific repair, your estimate, or your vehicle being ready. Tell us at any point that you would rather we only call, and that is how we will reach you.
This site is meant for adults arranging vehicle service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
You can ask us what contact information we hold for you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you about upcoming service. Call the shop at (602) 993-5400 or ask at the counter and we will take care of it. Some repair records are kept longer because a warranty depends on them, and we will tell you plainly when that applies.
