The Full List

What comes through these bay doors

Vehicle repair and restoration across all makes and models, plus routine maintenance carried out to manufacturer specifications. If a system is on your car, it is a system we work on, and if a repair genuinely belongs somewhere else we will tell you that instead of taking a swing at it.

Brake repair icon

Brake Service and Repair

Pads, rotors, calipers, hoses, master cylinders and fluid. A squeal is cheap to fix, a grind is not, and a pedal that sinks toward the floor is not something to drive on down Bell Road.

Air conditioning repair icon

Air Conditioning and Heating

Recharge, compressor, condenser, blend door and leak detection. Vents blowing warm air in June is a repair with a deadline, so we pressure test the system rather than topping it off and hoping.

Check Engine Light Diagnosis

A code is a starting point, not an answer. We trace the fault to its source, explain it in plain language, and make sure the repair holds up when the vehicle goes for emissions testing.

Transmission repair icon

Transmission Work

Fluid and filter service, solenoid and valve body faults, slipping, harsh shifts and rebuilds. Desert heat cooks transmission fluid faster than most owners expect, which is why we check condition and not just level.

Electrical systems repair icon

Electrical Systems

Batteries, alternators, starters, parasitic draws and the intermittent gremlins other shops hand back unsolved. Heat shortens battery life here dramatically, so charging system testing is part of every visit.

Steering and suspension icon

Steering and Suspension

Shocks, struts, control arms, bushings, tie rods and alignment. Sun cracked pavement and monsoon washouts around North Mountain punish suspension components long before the mileage suggests they should fail.

Factory Scheduled Maintenance

Oil changes and tire rotations through the full 30,000, 60,000 and 90,000 mile services, performed to manufacturer specification and documented so your factory warranty stays intact.

Timing belt service icon

Timing Belt Replacement

Replaced on schedule, with the tensioner, idlers and water pump inspected at the same time. On an interference engine a snapped belt turns a maintenance item into an engine rebuild.

European Vehicle Service

BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo, Saab and Mini, handled by technicians who understand how these platforms are built rather than treating them like a domestic sedan with a different badge.

Diagnosis First

The part swap lottery is not a repair plan

Plenty of repair bills are really the cost of somebody guessing twice before getting it right. A drivability diagnosis checks the vehicle on all problematic points so the repair we quote is the repair that fixes the complaint, not the first plausible part on the list.

That takes time in a bay, which is exactly why having six of them matters. A vehicle can stay on a lift long enough to be understood instead of being cycled out to free up space. You get a written estimate before anything is touched, and the work does not start until you say so.

What a full diagnosis covers

Scan of every module, not just the engine controller, including stored and pending codes

Live data review under load, because plenty of faults only appear once the vehicle is working

Visual inspection of belts, hoses, fluids, mounts and anything showing heat damage

Charging and starting system test, standard on every vehicle that comes in

Brake and tire condition check, with measurements rather than a glance

A written estimate that separates what needs doing now from what can safely wait

Maintenance Milestones

The services your manual asks for, done without the dealer trip

Factory maintenance is the cheapest work you will ever pay for, because it is the work that prevents everything expensive. The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act means having it done here keeps your factory coverage intact, as long as it follows the schedule and gets documented. We do both.

Every 3,000 to 7,500 miles

Oil and filter, tire rotation, fluid top off and a visual inspection. In Phoenix the interval leans shorter than the manual suggests, because short trips in extreme heat are harder on oil than highway miles in a mild climate.

The 30,000 mile service

Air and cabin filters, brake inspection, fluid checks and a full chassis review. This is usually the first visit where a shop can catch a developing problem while it is still a maintenance item.

The 60,000 mile service

Transmission and coolant service, spark plugs on many platforms, brake fluid, belts and hoses. Skipping this one is how a well maintained car quietly becomes a high mileage problem.

The 90,000 mile service

Timing belt on applicable engines, water pump, suspension components and a deep look at everything that has now been through a decade of Arizona summers. Done properly, this is the service that buys the next hundred thousand miles.

Know The Signs

Your car tells you before it strands you

Almost every roadside breakdown had a warning phase that somebody drove through. These are the ones worth acting on while the fix is still small.

The air went from cold to almost cold

Air conditioning rarely quits all at once. It fades, usually because refrigerant is escaping through a seal or a hose. Catching it as a leak repair is far cheaper than catching it after the compressor runs itself to death.

A grind, a pull, or a soft pedal

Squealing is the wear indicator doing its job. Grinding means the pad is gone and the rotor is paying for it. Pulling to one side or a pedal that travels too far points at hydraulics, and that is a same week visit, not a next month one.

Slow cranking on a hot afternoon

A battery weakened by summer heat often still starts the car right up until the morning it does not. A charging system test takes minutes and tells you whether you are dealing with the battery, the alternator, or a draw from something left powered.

New noises over familiar bumps

A clunk on the same dip you take every day usually means a bushing, a link or a strut mount has given up. Suspension wear also chews through tires, so ignoring it costs money in two places at once.

Shifts that feel late or harsh

Transmissions communicate through feel long before they set a code. A hesitation between gears or a shift that lands harder than it used to is worth a fluid inspection while the fix is still a service rather than a rebuild.

A light that came on and stayed on

A steady check engine light is a request. A flashing one is a warning that unburned fuel is heading for the catalytic converter, and continuing to drive turns a sensor repair into a much larger bill.

Service Questions

Answers before you hand over the keys

Do you charge for diagnostics?

Diagnostic time is real work and it is quoted before it starts, so you know the number before we begin. What you will never get here is a repair bill built on a guess.

Can you handle repairs the dealership quoted?

In most cases yes, and we are happy to look at a dealer estimate and tell you what on it is genuinely necessary. Being the dealership alternative for European and domestic vehicles is a large part of why people find us in the first place.

How long does a typical repair take?

Maintenance and brake work are usually same day. Diagnostics depend on how cooperative the fault is, and larger jobs such as timing belts or transmission work are scheduled so the vehicle is not sitting untouched. You get a realistic time frame with the estimate, not an optimistic one.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Parts and labor on the repairs we perform, for 3 years or 36,000 miles, honored nationwide through the NAPA AutoCare network. Air conditioning repairs carry a 12 month, 12,000 mile guarantee.

Do I need an appointment?

An appointment gets you a bay at a specific time, and same day slots are often available. You are also welcome to stop in. We cannot always guarantee your first choice of date because of existing appointments, but we will do our best to work around your schedule.
